The competition is open from 9th to 30th September 2024.

Applications can be submitted by visual artists with appropriate academic qualifications, as well as art historians, with an original project in the field of contemporary art who have not exhibited in Vranje in the past 5 years.

Exhibiting conditions provided to artists include catalogue production, poster and invitation creation, technical and professional assistance with setting up the exhibition, and public announcement and media coverage of the exhibition.

It is preferable that applications be submitted electronically using the COMPLETED FORM. Applications should be sent to the email address galerija@muzejvranje.rs

Applications should include:

1. Author’s details (name, surname, address, contact phone number, email, and if available, internet presentation)
2. Photographs of the exhibited works and details about them (title, technique, dimensions, year of creation or duration)
3. A concise exhibition concept
4. Technical description of the exhibition (if technical equipment is used that the Gallery does not possess, the artist is obliged to provide it for the exhibition)
5. Professional biography
6. Proposal for additional programmes (if part of the exhibition).

If artists are unable to submit the documentation electronically, applications can be sent by post or delivered in person to: Galerija Narodnog muzeja Vranje, Heroji sa Košara bb, 17 500 Vranje (if sending by post, please mark it “For the Exhibition Competition of the Gallery of the National Museum of Vranje for 2025”).

Competition materials will not be returned.
