Photography Exhibition “The Secret of a Basilica” by Zoran Radosavljević Kiki

We invite you to the opening of the photography exhibition “The Secret of a Basilica” by Zoran Radosavljević Kiki, organised by the National Museum Vranje.

This exhibition is part of the Svetosavska Week programme, within the 35th cultural, educational, and spiritual event, which will take place in Vranje from 21st to 27th January 2025.

The exhibition presents the results of archaeological research conducted in 2006 by archaeologists Toni Čerškov and Aleksandar Aleksić from the Institute for the Protection of Cultural Monuments in Niš. Further research in 2007 was carried out by Toni Čerškov at the site of the church within the village cemetery in Krševica, where the remains of an early Christian basilica were discovered.

Zoran Radosavljević Kiki, the author of the photographs, participated in the photographic documentation of this site. The exhibition will showcase both the documentary and artistic aspects of this significant research.

The exhibition opening will be on Tuesday, 21st January 2025, at 7 p.m. at the Gallery of the National Museum Vranje.
